We recently visited The Surf Yamba to experience the scenery, the spaces and our signature scent in action.  

The Scenery 

A scenic three-hour drive from Brisbane or 7 hours from Sydney, Yamba is a heavenly slice of the Northern New South Wales coastline. 

Located at the end of the headland on Queen Street, just metres to Yamba’s Main Beach and within walking distance to intimate dining, entertainment and parks, The Surf Yamba is the ultimate place to escape with friends, family or on a romantic getaway for two.

The Spaces

The boutique hotel’s understated opulence is immediately apparent as you enter the arched front door. From the warmth of the lighting, the plushness of the bathrobes, and the neutral colour palette offset by hints of blush pink and sage and finished with luxe gold finishes, The Surf truly encapsulates the simple luxuries we all desire.

With 12 cosy rooms, The Surf is about stepping back, switching off and enjoying time away from the hustle and bustle of home.

The Scent

Paradis is the scent of choice for The Surf Yamba. 

Although exploring the hotel’s signature scent involved numerous scent testings, there was a clear favourite in the sweet and spicy aromas and long-lasting woody trail of Paradis.

Inspired by moonlit Moroccan nights, you’ll find the glass candle welcoming guests upon arrival in the lobby, as well as reed diffusers in each room. We are humbled to have worked with The Surf Yamba team and delivered a scent they had fallen in love with as the signature scent for their stunning new boutique hotel.
